Tim's Graduation Day

Our smart, handsome and awe inspiring son graduated from Clearfield High School on May 31, 2007. His future plans are working at Ace Fabrication while saving enough money to go on a mission next year. He will also begin college next fall, taking his generals at Park University.

Tim's Senior Prom 2007

Tim and Frannie Looking quite the couple for Senior Prom 2007.

Tim's date Frannie, is trying very hard not to pin Tim's boutonniere to his chest.

Dave helping Tim with his tie.

Two peas in a pod, both are handsome and smart.

Tim is looking very dashing in his tuxedo. I make him feel tall standing next to me.

Tim's day date for Senior Prom started out by taking Frannie and friends GoKart racing. According Tim, "It was heart thumping exiciting."

Jalapeno & Lime Hummus Recipe

I normally don't like Hummus, but this recipe turned out pretty darned good. Just don't breath on anybody after you eat it.

1 16-oz. can chilled chick peas or garbanzo beans, drained, rinsed

Juice of one large fresh lime

2 tablespoons peanut butter

3 cloves fresh garlic

2 heaping tablespoons pickled jalapenos

1-2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves

a good pinch of cumin, to taste

red pepper flakes, to taste

a pinch of sea salt, to taste

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Serve with fresh carrot sticks, or serve with homemade chips made with whole wheat tortillas. Personally, I don't care for whole wheat tortillas. They don't roll well and taste like cardbord. Prepared this way though, they actually don't taste bad at all, and it's good for you. I cut the tortillas in eighths, arrange them on a cookie sheet, and spray with olive oil. Bake in the oven at 300 degrees.

Molly The Labrador

Tim decided it was time to get a new dog. He looked for weeks at the shelters and dog rescues. He just couldn't find a dog he liked; that is until he met Molly the Labrador.

Awww...Isn't she cute!
I know this picture doesn't belong here, but I though it was cute.

Chris Turns Twenty One!

Can you believe it? Chris turned 21. Dave and I offered to take him to vegas, but as usual, he chose to have a home cooked meal made by yours truly. I made him one of his favorite dishes; Lasagna with french bread and Antipasto Salad. Where does the time go?
The Three Stooges!
Hmmm... What could this be?

Michael bought Chris a Japanese wall hanging for his Birthday.

Daniel's Summit Fun

Dave and I spent a fabulous day with our buddies, Mike and Jen Johnson. Mike took us on a tour of Daniel's Summit. This is my all time favorite ride. We had nice temperatures and deep fresh powder. I wish all rides were as good as this one was.

Dave and I found a real fixer-upper.
This is the look of pure joy and exhaustion. Jen has the joy look and I have the exhaustion look.
Jen just spotted BigFoot!
That's me jumping. I didn't even break anything this time.

Ab.ra.ca.dab.ra, make Kathleen dissapear.

Just how deep is the snow you ask? Check out the front end of Mike's Snowmobile.

Jen is flying high.

Jen found some powder.

Check out Mike's face-mask. I don't think he can see.
Hmmm, I wonder if he really is going to go off that.

Yes he did.

I can't believe he went off that.

This is going to hurt.
Hey! Where's Waldo?

There he is! Crazy guy.

Dave is looking pretty good after a fun day of riding.

Mike Johnson taking on a drift.

Houston... we have lift off.

This is Mike Johnson high marking on a hill called Tower. This is the same hill a 16 year old boy died in an avalanche a week prior. Needless to say Jen wasn't very happy with him.

Pinedale Wy. Snowmobile Trip

What a bunch of Flakes!

Jen is doing her happy dance; or is she just trying to keep warm? Temperatures were in the negatives.

That's me waiting for the drugs to kick in long enough to get me back to the road. An Ambulance was waiting for me when I returned. It turns out that if you are going to have an accident, having good friends that can get you out of a jam are good to bring along.

Dave and I decided to join our Snomobile group on a trip to Wy. This trip was supposed to be our highlight trip of the winter. It tuned out to be the highlight for the wrong reasons. I found out about 16 miles into the first ride of the trip that the snow levels were not deep. I ended up hitting a boulder that was buried just deep enough that I couldn't see it. If you look closely, you can see the bent arm on my sled and the boulder I hit. I stopped real fast and flipped onto my back on top of the boulder. Needless to say, that was the end of my day/trip.

Snowboarding With Friends

Mike found some air.

A perfect landing.

Mike's friend Blaze... Cool name!

Tim's Baptism

After much thought and consideration, Tim decided that he would like to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many friends and neighbors came to witness his baptism including our good friends the Johnsons. Big Mike Johnson gave the Talk on Baptism and Tim's best friend gave the talk on the Holy Ghost. Tim's missionary, Elder Fagg, had the honor of baptising Tim. It was a very moving and spiritual journey. We were very touched by how many friends came out to support and witness his baptism. On Sunday, Tim was confirmed into the church and ordained as a priest.

Dave and I are all blubbery after Tim has been Baptised. Pictures were not allowed during the ceremony.

Family photo right before Tim takes the big plunge.

Mike is babysitting Abbey. He is really good with kids. I told him that I hope he has a dozen that act just like him.
